Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls
Ingredients:
1 pound spicy pork sausage, room temperature
1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes, well-drained and finely chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, Rotel tomatoes, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese, flour, cornmeal, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper to the sausage mixture. Mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese dressing for added flavor.
