Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole
Ingredients:
1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Cook the ravioli according to package instructions until just al dente, drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the marinara sauce into the cooked beef and set aside.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
To assemble, spread half of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the ravioli, then layer the remaining ravioli over the top. Cover with the remaining meat sauce.
Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve hot, allowing each layer to meld into a rich, creamy texture that makes this casserole truly a “million dollar” experience.
