Breakfast Bundt Cake
Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup milk
4 large eggs, beaten
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cup hash browns, cooked and cooled
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, cream the butter. Gradually add the eggs and milk, mixing until well combined.
Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, and hash browns.
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Tap the pan on the counter to ensure there are no air bubbles.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
