Cherry Pie Bites
Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 egg, beaten
Sugar for sprinkling
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
Unroll the pie crusts and cut out circles using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass that fits the mini muffin cups.
Press each dough circle into the muffin cups, forming small pie crusts.
Spoon cherry pie filling into each crust, filling them nearly to the top.
Brush the edges of the pie dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the crusts are golden brown.
Allow the cherry pie bites to cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
